One of the most important items that you will likely use is the bee cage. The bee cage acts like a poké ball for bees, displaying the type, health, and stats of the contained bee. All you must do to catch a bee is right click one that is flying around your world, and right click again to release it.

Cages can be found in most any naturally spawning chest, though they can also be made as shown in the recipe below. SHOW RECIPIE Bees will be held here until released and placing them back down resets their home point, so make sure to place them near an advanced hive or a boxed in area to prevent them from flying off.
