Tiny Mob Farms

This mod is rather simple, but there are a few essential recipes that it couldn't hurt to have written down. Tiny Mob Farms allows for a 1 block farm with the capability of producing infinite resources at high level farms.

Recipes

Lassos

Lassos capture any mob from any mod except those with boss bars. This can be used for simple transportation or to farm the creature contained in a tiny mob farm. Be warned, this uses durability based on the level of mob farm and your lasso can break.

Each lasso takes 1 lead, 2 diamonds, and 2 slime balls, placed in the format shown.

Wooden Mob Farm - Level 1

This is the slowest working mob farm in the mod, doing the most durability per use. It is recommended that, if you can swing it, you wait to use your mob farms until you can get them to level 3+, otherwise all lassos put into them will be a waste of resources. Hostile mobs cannot be farmed until you have reached the iron mob farm.

The wooden mob farm requires 4 oak bookshelves, 1 piece of glass, 1 string, 1 bone, 1 rotten flesh, and 1 gun powder as shown.

Stone Mob Farm - Level 2

The stone mob farm is barely a step up from the wooden one. It takes nearly the same amount of time, the same durability usage, and cannot hold hostile mobs.

It requires 2 wooden mob farms, 2 stone, 2 obsidian, and 1 oak bookshelf in the order shown.

Iron Mob Farm - Level 3

The iron mob farm is where things start to pick up a bit. The durability drain is still steep, but it does provide resources at about the same speed a furnace smelts items. Level 3 allows you to start farming hostile mobs, so creating further levels should become a bit easier.

This level requires 2 stone mob farms, 4 blaze rods, 2 iron blocks, and 1 obsidian.

Gold Mob Farm - Level 4

The gold mob farm is much like the upgrade from wood to stone, the difference is quite small, but it is worth it to get to the higher levels of this soon-to-be OP item.

It needs 2 iron mob farms, 2 gold blocks, 4 eyes of ender, and 1 blaze rod.

Diamond Mob Farm - Level 5

The diamond mob farm is where the change is noticeable once again -- and after all that grinding, I'd hope so! The durability drain is notably slower and the production speed isn't bad at all.

It needs 2 gold mob farms, 2 blocks of diamond, 1 eye of ender, and 4 ghast tears.

Emerald Mob Farm - Level 6

Level 6 is another notable feeling upgrade. Emerald is the level that my double chest always begins overflowing if left alone for too long, so be ready to make a little hopper system for your farm. Be aware that past this point, the grind to keep leveling up gets hard and is going to take some time.

It requires 2 diamond mob farms, 2 emerald blocks, 4 nether stars, and 1 ghast tear.

Inferno Mob Farm - Level 7

The infernal farm is the second to last upgrade and you can feel it. Once you've got it, your chests will begin overflowing if lassos are left in there for more than 10 minutes at a time. Items will begin to be spat out left and right, making for huge laggy messes if you're not careful. This upgrade requires you defeat the ender dragon and bring at least 8 empty bottles with you when you do it so you can get to the final level without having to do it twice.

This upgrade needs 2 emerald mob farms, 4 bottles of dragon breath, 2 chorus fruit flowers, and 1 nether star.

Ultimate Mob Farm - Level 8

9.png

This is the highest level mob farm there is. This allows for near instant, constant, and infinite production of any non-boss drop in the game. This does not use durability and the speed is incredibly fast. It may not have been easy to get here, but it will be worth it. Now all you need to do is catch a vindicator and you'll have infinite diamonds for trading, a wither skeleton and you'll have all the stars you need, a -- well, you get it!

This mob farm requires 2 inferno farms, 4 shulker boxes, 2 elytras, and 1 dragons breath.
