Why won't bees go into my hive?
What's the point of Solitary Bees?
Most bees found on the surface are solitary bees - or bees who do not live in hives - that do not produce items. Other times, the bee may already have a hive and will need to be picked up using a bee cage and replaced next to the hive you want it to reside in.

Solitary bees are used in breeding, the orders can be found in the breeding tab above.
Where do you find a Neon Cuckoo Bees and Nomad Bees?

How do I change the stats of my bee?
Neon Cuckoo Bees and Nomad Bees can only be found in other bee's hives -- specifically in Blue Banded Bee's and Ashy Mining Bee's hives respectively.

Zombie and Skeletal bees spawn in advanced hives left at a light level lower than 6 naturally, just as actual zombies and skeletons would.
You can change your bee's weather tolerance and when its awake by keeping it leashed outside during a rainstorm and whenever you would like the bee to be awake. You can also change how passive it is using bee treats obtained through modified bee treats. More on this can be found in the machinery and item tabs.
